THE LONG STORY
In early years, the brothers founded a band in their youth from church called ‘Forever Unbroken’. After a few youth events the band ironically split up, as Matt desired to pursue Bible College at Cornerstone Community in Canowindra NSW, while Sam up-skilled his production skills at SAE in Brisbane QLD. During these years apart, the brothers wrote songs and collaberated on songs they formed in Forever Unbroken, until finally joining bands ‘Iron and Clay’ and ‘Endless Praise’. Both bands pursued touring life and ministry inside churches, schools and youth groups throughout Australia. In this time both Matt and Sam had toured over 400 different churches and 800 different schools combined in their years of ministry.
In the duration of touring both brothers married and found themselves working full-time jobs while communicate the need to collaborate once more. In 2021 Matt wrote ‘All That I Hope For’ as a response to the dream the brothers once had during their time as youth, as well as looking ahead to what the brothers could give to a world with their talents. Both brothers then continued to build momentum in their collaboration until ‘All That I Hope For' was finally released in 2024. The single soon spread to local radio stations and had made its way to placing Tell Me I'm Dreaming as semi-finalists in the Unsigned Only Music Awards 2025.
